In a thrilling Premier League match at Old Trafford on Saturday, Manchester United defeated Nottingham Forest 3-2 thanks in part to a 3-2 comeback triumph from Bruno Fernandes, who converted a penalty after the hosts had given up two goals in the first five minutes.

After two minutes, Taiwo Awoniyi sprinted through to give Forest the lead, leaving the home fans in shock. Two minutes later, an unmarked Willy Boly headed in the second goal, shocking the audience once again.

After 17 minutes, Christian Eriksen started the comeback by touching in a cross from Marcus Rashford, but despite all of United’s pressure, Forest still posed a serious danger.

In the 52nd minute, Casemiro equalized from close range, and Forest was reduced to 10 men when Joe Worrall was sent off for bringing down Fernandes outside the penalty area.

Ten minutes later, when a minor touch from Danilo knocked Rashford to the ground, Fernandes stepped up to convert from the spot and give United their second victory of the year, beating American goalkeeper Matt Turner.
