Jasprit Bumrah, the captain of India, praised the very certain youths who helped the team win the T20 series in Ireland.
The third and final Twenty20 international was called off at Malahide on Wednesday because to the persistent rain. Not a single ball was bowled.
India won the first T20 by two runs using the DLS technique, and then won by 33 runs to win the series 2-0.
India’s skipper Bumrah, who hadn’t played in over a year after having back surgery, was awarded player of the series after taking four wickets in only two games with an average of 9.75.
“I’m excited to play some cricket again. When you’re waiting for a game to start, it’s annoying. Did not anticipate this since the morning weather was perfect. Everyone was really excited and willing to lead the side, and it was an honor. Anyone would be happy to take the lead whenever they had the chance, Bumrah stated.
“You always desire responsibilities as a cricketer. Nothing to complain about (in terms of fitness). When players are so self-assured and direct me, it makes my work simpler.
India will play their opening game at the Asia Cup on September 2 against Pakistan, the tournament’s co-host and archrival.
